If you are wondering why this fixture appears here on a site about our missing son Andrew Gosden, it is because the charity Missing People are joining forces with Rovers to help us publicise the fact that Andrew is still missing and still very much missed.
We will be there as a family, along with some volunteers to hand out leaflets as people enter and leave the Stadium, to encourage them to share about Andrew via email and socialnetworking sites and to make a splash with a giant display of Andrew’s Missing poster.
As a family, we are extremely grateful to both Doncaster Rovers and to Missing People for facilitating this link-up and hope that it will lead the way elsewhere in the UK for similar events.
If you would like to join the team of volunteers, please email me with contact details at [email protected] and I shall pass your name to the new Regional Representative for Missing People, Martin Crosby, who is organising this aspect.
Of course, living in Doncaster, we hope Rovers win the match.... but if more people can spread word about a lad who has been missing for over 5 years, no-one can really lose.
